Jin Jung

Jin Jung creates a list of personal poetry then asks friends to pick their favorite words and phrases then the second stage was at the exhibition where the public were able to connect the words and phrases or words and relative statements with each other by using red thread.

The quote suggests that the involvement of the audience adds to the work and that it creates a stronger alliance between the reader and the audience. This contrasts with theories such as Rowland Barthes where he speaks of "The death of the author" where interaction occurs. Where does the authorship lie when others are changing, adding or subtracting from the "original"?
